I remember being so excited when I found out I was having girls. I would have bet my last dollar that they were going to be boys. I tried to invision my life with sons and it was a bit of stretch. I come from a “male challenged” family.  Most of the men in my family have been “married” in. So I really had no frame of reference.

• When did you start your business?
  
  I have been in business since fall of 2004.
  
• What was the inspiration behind starting your business?
  Unsatisfied search to find one of a kind hair accessories for my preschooler inspired me to come up with a line of silk flower hair accessories for her. Everywhere we went people admired her hairpieces, wanting to know where they can buy one. So, I took her collection to a few of the children stores in the valley and this is how Made by Miriam Silk Flower Arrangements, took a whole new direction and a vision.
  
• Are you married, single, with kids, etc?
  I am married to a wonderful man and a great father and have 5 children. Our children range from college graduate to a toddler! We live in Scottsdale, Arizona and love every moment of it.
• What is your favorite thing(s) about your business?
  I love creating beautiful accessories and hearing back from my customers letting me know how I have been able to help them make their search quick, successful and most of all affordable.

The first thing that I love about this site it that it is “mom” owned. Miriam is a delight to work with and has a true heart for her clients and products.

Bowtique Unique is simplicity at it’s best. You don’t have a moment of hesitation trying to find the product you are needing. Everything is clearly listed, the schmatic of the site is very consumer friendly and their are tons of pictures for those of us that are visual shoppers.

With informative pages such as a consumer safety product page, directions on how to get the perfect hair band fit for your baby…you do not have to guess if the product is right or safe for your child. Offering their products to brick and mortar shops via the wholesale program and the drop-ship program only enhances the efficiency of the site.

Bowtique Unique offers made to match items, as well as different styles of head bands and designer flip-flops. You will find bows made with grosgrain, satin, and denim.
