Penelope Poet is the brainchild of Joanne Gouaux, who upon becoming a mom decided to take a break from the corporate world and start her own business. I have a lot of “passions” in my life. My passion for God and my family are obviously first and foremost. My passion for this blog makes it exciting each morning for me to create a new post or  review.  But my passion for jewelry and the finely detailed designs created from silver, gold and gemstones has been a passion of mine since I was old enough to play in my mother’s jewelry box.

Before having children I toyed with the idea of becoming a gemologist. My eyes light up and twinkle around jewelry. It doesn’t have to be genuine gold or sterling silver…costume jewelry, fashion jewelry…I just love it!

If you recall… I wrote about how excited I was when I first opened the box from Penelope Poet. You can read my first reactions here. I was so excited I had to write about it the moment I received it.

This breathtaking piece of jewelry arrived in a beautiful burgundy jeweler’s box complete with card that quoted Proverbs 8:31!

I seriously almost cried when I opened this box. This pendent is superbly detailed. A single unblemished white pearl sits in the middle of an intricate swirl of Sterling Silver circles.

The pendent represents the bond and closeness that represents family. With the words “The Family Circle” etched on the back it is a priceless gift to give to someone you love.

I wore the Family Circle Pendent recently to see a viewing of the production Grease, with Taylor Hicks and was complimented many times on my necklace. With all the glitz and glamour around me that evening I was thrilled to be wearing my Family Circle Pendent.

The size, quality and style belie it’s affordable price tag. Penelope Poet is a jewelry lover’s dream…nope scratch that…reality, yes…it’s a jewelry lover’s reality because dreams just don’t get that good!
