A LITTLE ABOUT SAFETY TAT:

The idea for SafetyTat child temporary ID tattoos was born of necessity one weekend at an photo_amusement_entranceamusement park. On Labor Day Weekend, Michele and her husband, there with their three small children, felt out-numbered. To stave her panic, she quickly wrote her mobile phone number on each of their arms with a ballpoint pen. As she did this, she thoughtfully explained to each of them the importance of staying close to Mommy and Daddy. She also told them that if they were separated that the number on their arm was a way to reconnect with them.

Throughout the day of fun, Michele had to rewrite the number several times as it smeared or washed off. Several parents in the park, stopped her to ask if that was her number on the kids’ arms. Each time, they loved the idea. The day was a success and the idea for SafetyTat temporary id tattoos was born.**

WHAT DOES THE IE MOMMY THINK?:

I can totally relate to the story of how SafetyTat came to be….because I always feel out numbered.  I guess that is one of the reasons I quickly became an advocate of Safety Tat. I first learned of Safety Tat through the Professor of Protection and knew that it was a product that I would need to research and review.

SafetyTat has performed beyond my expectations. SafetyTat  uses medical-grade, image5hypoallergenic, latex-free adhesive on their products and can be used for numerous events, activities and outings.

Listen…I am going to open and honest with you. There are a lot of  “weird” people in the world.  It is very easy for a parent or care giver to become distracted. Children tend to wander. A responsible parent educates their child on the dangers of leaving their side. But even with good intentions…it isn’t always enough. I subscribe to theory of always going one step beyond and above of what is expected. Especially with regards to the safety of my children. So while good instructions, drills, education and examples to our children about the dangers of the real world. SafetyTat is that step “above and beyond”. Just one more way to breathe easier.

I have used the SafetyTats on outings to the Wild Animal Park and Disneyland. They can be used anywhere, anytime you feel there will be a lot of people, a lot of commotion or a lot of opportunities for your child to wander.

SafetyTats currently have two different versions:

Original SafetyTats are much like novelty temporary tattoos for kids you have probably used or seen. SafetyTat customizes these tattoos for you. The safety tattoo is applied face down, then saturated with water to remove the backer paper. The Original SafetyTats are translucent once applied. Original SafetyTats last from 1-5 days. For best performance, we recommend applying a new Original SafetyTat each day.**

Our NEW Quick Stick Write-On! SafetyTats are different…and pretty amazing! They are blank/non-customized “skin appliques” or “skin stickers” that you customize yourself with the provided tattoo marking pen. They require no water to apply — simply peel and stick — “Quick Stick!” They are made of a micro thin, durable elastimer that is opaque when applied to skin and provides an ultra-safe barrier so no ink touches your child’s skin or bleeds through the tattoo when you write on it. Quick Stick Write-Ons last up to 2 weeks!**

For a limited time SafetyTat has agree to offer The IE Mommy readers 15% off their order of $15 or more Use coupon code: IEMommy (type it in exactly as it appears here)  Expires: July 7, 2009. Let’s work together to keep your kids safer.
